It’s too damn cold out!!!

382240_343251242454533_1524801404_nWinter. The snowy season. Cold and icy. The last thing I want to do is go outside and I can’t imagine I’m the only one!

Winter can be tough, it’s cold out, gets dark early and going outside once the sun sets isn’t always my favourite option. Call me a hardcore winter hibernator if you will. One of the things that I find most challenging during the winter months is getting enough exercise. With the sun going down early, some of my favourite activities are boxed out of the picture quick, like my personal favourite: walking. I love going for walks! They are low impact, head clearing and inexpensive! All you need is your two feet (and a nice pair of walking shoes doesn’t hurt either!). But what’s a girl to do during the frigid winter?

A few weeks ago hubby and I were bored out of minds trying to think of something to do. Then I had a stroke of genius. I loaded up Youtube on the T.V., did a quick search and viola! Hubby and I were moving and sweating and curbing our funk in no time!

What is this magic I speak of? It’s the fun and bubbly home-fitness personality Leslie Sansone! I’ve been working out to Leslie’s tapes for a long time. I first started with her when I was trying to loose excess weight I had somehow acquired years back and I’ve synced up with her tapes on and off throughout the years. Imagine my excitement when I found out she was available on Youtube!!

Are you looking for a low-impact way to stay fit during the winter months that doesn’t require you to venture out in the cold? Look no further! Leslie is where it is at! Check out some of her awesome videos below.

Running low on time? No problem! Walk a mile and get your heart rate up in 15 minutes! Feel like going longer? Take her 2 mile challenge. Ready to dive in? 3 miles is where it’s at!! Don’t let the cold keep you from staying healthy! Join me in beating the winter blues, one walk at a time! 🙂
