Jennifer Garcia | Kirtan Caravan Teacher | RYT-200
Jennifer has been working as a neonatal nurse since 2005, and has always had an interest in a holistic approach to healthcare and wellness. She discovered yoga when searching for relief from chronic neck pain and stress. After years of a regular yoga practice from which she noticed many physical, mental, and spiritual benefits, she was inspired to become a yoga teacher herself. Jennifer completed her 200 hour RYT in 2014, and since then has guided a variety of yoga and meditation classes, teacher trainings, workshops, ceremonies, and retreats. In 2018, she also became an Usui Tibetan Reiki Master.
Jennifer was given the spiritual name of “Rasa” after completing her yoga teacher training. It simply means the absolute heart of something, and speaks to her personality in that she is genuine and honest and puts her whole self into everything she does, including the practice and teaching of yoga.
Jennifer specializes in gentle yoga, yoga for the neck & shoulders, yoga for beginners, restorative yoga, and guided meditations, including yoga nidra. She also has extensive experience in the traditional styles of hatha and vinyasa yoga. The focus for her students is on self-care and stress reduction, and she enjoys incorporating the use of music, essential oils, and crystals into her classes.
Jennifer’s mission is simply to share the joys of yoga and meditation with all who show interest. Her philosophy is that anyone can do yoga and experience its many benefits, and her teaching style nurtures this intention. All of her classes are accessible to people with all levels of yoga experience, including none at all. She loves to offer others the opportunity to feel healthier and happier through the practices of yoga and meditation.

Sam Blackard | Kirtan Caravan Teacher | RYT-200
The yogic lifestyle has been incredibly influential to Sam and has led her down a path of self-empowerment, self-discovery, and ignited a burning desire to connect with members of the global community, in order to establish a more holistic way of living.
Embodying the love and excitement for life’s experiences, Sam chose to move forward down the path of Sadhana and embrace the choice to stay ‘awake’ and continue to manifest a world of ecstatic beauty and coexistence.
Through the years of practicing and guiding yoga, Sam has developed a love for creating sacred space for ceremony and healing, offering workshops and retreats that bring us closer to our True Self, and creating asana offerings that are specific to her students needs and ambitions. Over the years of establishing her own yoga practice (on and off the mat), Sam continues to be inspired by the history of the yogic tradition, the growth and clarity that comes from meditation, and the endless benefits of moving through asanas in a mindful way.
Sam received her training and 200-hr yoga teacher certification from Holistic Yoga School in Fort Collins. Since getting her certification, she has continued to study and learn from those around her in formal and informal settings. The Fort Collins yoga community has inspired Sam to take these offerings and make them accessible to the global community!
Outside of teaching and practicing yoga, Sam enjoys other forms of movement meditation that ignite the essence of play and exploring the beautiful abilities of the human form! She loves spending time with her family, being in her garden, long walks with her dog, a good Kirtan jam with friends, and making dreams come true with those around her!
And so it is!
